Internal Assessments and Reports

Students are continually assessed throughout the year in all subjects and reports are sent home at various intervals throughout the year.

All students are involved in these reporting procedures and are invited to comment on their own progress and set new targets. Parents are also invited to become closely involved in the evaluation and reporting procedures. Parents will receive feedback on a pupil’s progress every term in the form of a Student Profile. A full, written report is sent home at the end of each Key Stage. The reporting system is accompanied by Parents’ Evenings:

Year 7 October and June
Year 8 March
Year 9 February
Year 10 October and June
Year 11 January

If parents have concerns or issues to raise at any other time, they are always welcome to contact the Form Tutor, Head of Year, Deputy Principal or Principal by telephone or in writing and if necessary an appointment will be arranged.
