OFSTED INSPECTION

Uppingham Community College is delighted to announce that its recent Ofsted inspection has declared the College to be ‘outstanding’. This is a major achievement and reflects all the hard work and efforts of the staff, students, parents and governors over the recent years.

The inspection team noted that the curriculum provision has been developed to a very high standard and allows all students to access the learning appropriate to them. We were also pleased that the report noted that ‘It is highly commendable that previously noted strengths in terms of outstanding pastoral care, guidance and support and students’ personal development and wellbeing have also been maintained to an outstanding level.’

Mr Rob Sawyer, Chairman of Governors, added, 'This result is a real tribute to the outstanding skills and hard work of all UCC and Upp-Starts Pre-School & Nursery staff. It also reflects extremely well on the rich and diverse talents of our students.’
